Since Cambri and her cousin Zoe were born about a week apart my sister Rachael and I have been wanting to do a photo shoot with them together.  We finally did it.  Her sister in law Shannon toke the pictures and did an amazing job.  Here are some pics, I also made a slideshow that is not uploading right so I will post that later when I figure out the problem.

Baby Blessing

Cambri's baby blessing was such a special day.  She got to be blessed by her father on fathers day.  McKay gave such a sweet and tender blessing for our little girl.  She is such a blessing in our lives and the world is better having her in it.  She has so much love in that little body and has such a peaceful girl.  Some things we already know about her is she is a very social baby, as long as she is with people she is happy no matter what is going on. She loves everybody and makes others feel loved when they are around her. She is affectionate and likes to be held, cuddled and talked to. She brings peace and purity into any room. We had the blessing after church with just family and friends, thanks to all who came!

Seattle Cousins

Cambri got to meet her Seattle cousins for the first time this last week.  McKay's sister Marcia and her family live in the Seattle area and decided to surprise us by coming into town to be with family and meet the Cambri, the newest member of the Matheson fam.  Cambri had a great time.  She got passed around from person to person and just loved it.  We had family pictures, hung out at the Lindon pool, played lots of games and she even got babysat by the Seattle cousins for 2 days while I was at work.

Top 10 Things Cambri Likes to do With Her Dad!

10:  She loves to take naps with her dad, especially on Sunday afternoons.  I don't have any pictures of them napping together but here is one of her napping on him.

9. McKay always speaks Spanish to Cambri because we want her to grow up learning it.  When he talks to her she hangs on his every word.  She just sits and stares at him and soaks it all up.

8. She loves to have him sing to her as well, he sings her the cutest little songs and she absolutely loves it!

7.  She likes to go on outings with her dad, out to grandma's house, restaurants, festivals, anywhere she loves to go where he goes.

6.  She loves to just cuddle with him, she loves the way he holds her and is happy and content to have him jsst hold her for hours.

5.  They love to smile at each other, she saves her biggest smiles for her dad

4.  She loves to dance with her dad.  He's a great dancer and she loves it when he dances with her and teaches her.

3.  Every once in a while he will get to feed her a bottle.  She loves to have her dad give her a bottle.  He does a great job of keeping her clean and non drooly throughout the process and gets big smiles from her when he is done.

2.  She loves the noises and faces he makes for her.  He has a gift for noises and faces, he has hundreds and she loves every single one of them.

1.  She loved that she got to be blessed by her dad on fathers day, he gave her the sweetest most wonderful little blessing any girl could have hoped for and she loved it!

Lil' Scot

Last weekend McKay and I toke Cambri to the Scottish festival at Thanksgiving point.  She was such a good girl all day long.  She participated in the parade of clans, watched some of the Scottish games and dancing and listened to some Scottish music.  Her favorite Scottish band is the wicked tinkers and she got to attend their concert at the end of the night, it was her first concert and she loved it.
