5 Months

I can't believe that Cambri is 5 months old!  She is just growing so fast.  She loves to make silly noises with her throat.  Her new favorite thing is to stop eating half way through her bottle and start gurgling (playing with her food already).  She loves to talk and will smile at anyone who smiles at her.  She is practicing trying to sit up.  She really wants to do it but doesn't quite have it yet.  She puts her hands out in front of her to help her balance but usually only lasts a few seconds before toppling over.  She puts anything you give her in her mouth.  She likes "flying baby" and reaches for things really well.  She is doing good at eating cereal some of the time, other times she just spits it out.

 

Camping

Cambri went on her first camping trip.  McKay's whole family packed up and toke a short trip up to Coalville Utah for a few days.  They toke the trailer but there were so many of us that we couldn't all fit so a few of us slept in the hotel next to the campsite.  We had such a great time that we forgot to take pictures except for one night around the campfire.  We went swimming, went to county fair and participated in a swap meet!

Rice Cereal

At Cambri's 4 month appointment the dr. told me she was ready to start eating foods.  He told me to start with rice cereal and then to slowly start introducing her to other baby foods.  Here are some pictures of her first time eating her cereal.  She didn't like it so much the first time, she does much better with it now.

4 Months

Cambri is growing so stinkin fast!  She is so much more aware of her surroundings.  She knows when she has your full attention and when she doesn't.  She loves to play with anything she can grab a hold of.  She knows her binky goes in her mouth.  If she gets it in her hand she will try and try to get it in her mouth until she finally does.  She loves to be tickled and played with.  She absolutely loves to go shopping because there is so much to look at. At her 4 month appointment she was 13 lbs. 4 oz. and 25 inches long.

Little Guppies

Cambri has been doing a good deal of swimming this month.  She loves the water!  The first time she went was with her cousin Zoe.  My sister Rachael's in-law's have some property up the canyon that has a club house and indoor pool so we toke the girls up there together.  Cambri loved the water, she didn't react at all the first time her dad slowly walked into the water with her.
